Το βιβλίο συλληπτήριων που άνοιξε η Πρεσβεία του Κουβέιτ στη Λευκωσία, για τον θάνατο του Εμίρη Σαμπάχ αλ-Αχμάντ αλ-Τζαμπέρ αλ-Σαμπάχ, υπέγραψε εκ μέρους του Δημοκρατικού Συναγερμού ο Κοινοβουλευτικός Εκπρόσωπος κ. Νίκος Τορναρίτης.
Ο κ. Τορναρίτης έγραψε στο βιβλίο συλληπτηρίων τα εξής:
«It is with great sorrow that we were informed of the passing of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
On behalf of the Democratic Rally, I wish to express our sincere condolences to his family and to the people of Kuwait.
The late Amir will be remembered as a wise and moderate leader, a man of generosity, tolerance and peace. He was rightly regarded as the architect of modern Kuwait’s foreign policy and a respected voice in the Gulf region and the broader Middle East. His humanitarianism and his efforts to facilitate Arab unity will always be an important part of his legacy».
